A SUNBURN REMEDY.
Very appropriate for the summer season is the new remedy given by Fay Wray, who has just returned from location scenes for Paramount’s “The Sea God,” in which she is playing opposite Richard Arlen. > Miss Wray has a beautiful complexion, and she says that it is preserved by a simple but effective method which was practised by our grandmothers. It is made by mixing cornmeal and buttermilk into a paste which is patted well into the face and neck, and allowed to dry. Then wash off with luke warm water, and a beautiful satiny touch will be given the skin. Afterwards, the ordinary powder base and powder may be used, but it 1 will be found that the bleach has the effect of removing unwanted sun tan and freckles.
