AUCKLAND BURGLARY.
MAN HELD BY YOUTH. AUCKLAND, Monday. Jack Robinson, aged 17, son of Mr H. W. Robinson, jeweller and watchmaker, Newmarket, heard the sound of breaking glass from the living quarters at the back of the shop. Rushing into the shop he saw a man’s hand groping through a hole in the window. He opened the front door, dashed out, seized the man and held him while his brother called the police. The arrested man will appear in the Police Court this morning.
