SERIES OF THEFTS.
CLUB FUNDS TAKEN. SIX MONTHS’ IMPRISONMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) , DUNEDIN, Friday. In the Police Court Robert Manson appeared for sentence on five charges of theft. Accused was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment on a charge of stealing £SO, the property of the Waipiata Athletic Club; also to six months’ imprisonment for stealing £36, the property of Messrs White and Co., the sentences to be concurrent. On other charges fie was convicted and discharged.
