EVERYONE, — he and Biddy determined to explore It. After asking Johnny and Joan to wait for thfem at the entrance, Bone took a candle In a r cleft stick and led the way in. “My! It does go a long way,” whispered Bone. ~^ “Yes! we must be turning back or we shall lose our way,” replied Biddy. 1 : Puppy-llke, Bone went on and on, until—when he wanted to find his way back he was completely lost. How miserable the bold explorers felt!!! They seemed to have been walking hours. “Boo! Boo! We must be m-mlles from the entrance,” sobbed Bone. “We shaii never s-see Johnny and Joan ag-g-gain,” wailed Biddy. Johnny and Joan sat at the mouth of the rabbit hole waiting. Suddenly they heard a sobbing inside (just round a bend). Those silly little pets had walked round and round the rabbit warren and they were only a few yards from where they had started. Ah! well! they had a terrible fright all the same, PETER PAN.
