WRECK OF SEAPLANE.
RAISED TO THE SURFACE. ENGINE AND FUSELAGE INTACT. AUCKLAND, Friday. The Fairey seaplane which dived into the harbour near the Air Base at Hobsonville on Wednesday was raised to the surface yesterday and towed to the shore. It now lies in a damaged condition at the Air Base slipway ready to be dismantled. However, the engine and the greater part of the fuselage are intact, and steps are being taken to replace the damaged parts, soi that the machine may be placed in commission again.
