The debate on the Address-in-Reply in the House of Commons to-day was resumed by the Leader of the Liberal Party, Air Lloyd George, lie said the Leader of the Conservatives, Air Baldwin, -certainly had no right to complain because the Prime Alinister, Air AlacDonald, was adopting the same attitude toward food taxes as that which Air Baldwin had taken up last' year. The legislative menu of the session seemed to lack vitamins. Dealing with electoral reform Air George said that at the last general election Labour had a seat for every 29,000 votes, the Conservatives one for every 34,000 votes and the Liberals one for every 90,000 votes. Every decent, right-minded man must admit that was a wrong which must be remedied. The Government’s proposals affecting unemployment seemed puny and pale and rickety. Air George said he was afraid that when the Government went out it would be said that it had died of pernicious anaemia. Air AlacDonald should put more drive into the schemes for dealing witliunemployment and 'devote less lime to other things. Unemployment should be treated as a matter of national urgency. • :
