CHARGE OF BIGAMY.
HAIRDRESSER FOUND GUILTY. AUCKLAND, Friday. A verdict of guilty of bigamy was given by the jury at the close of the trial in the Supreme Court yesterday oif James Joseph Groonotte, aged 42, a hairdresser. The allegation was that on November 24, 1913, accused married Fanny Tichborne at Johannesburg, and that while she was still living he went through the form of marriage with Eva Hill at Palmerston North on February 9, 1927.
