ORNATE CHURCH SERVICES.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—With the “ Ex-Anglicans ” who have lately published letters- in your public opinion column I can sympathise for I, also, am an exAnglican. I found, however, the elaborate forms, ceremonies and ritual, which were gradually being introduced into the Church upalatable—l could not reconcile them with the simple teaching of the Master, and so, after much reflection, I quietly sought a more congenial environment—a step I have never regretted- At the -same time, I have nothing but the most pleasant memories of the beautiful, simple services as conducted in the village church I attended as a boy.— I am, etc., CEPHAS.
