Conditions on the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day suggested that many investors are expecting a victory for the Government at the polls to-mor-row. Bank, gas and brewery shares, also leading industrial shares, changed hands, at enhanced prices, but rates for Commonwealth bonds were irregular. •
