After a day’s rest at Wagga the Sydney-to-Melbourne cyclists completed the third stage to Albury. There were two serious crashes during the run, in which 13 riders fell, including Opperman and Bidot. At the end of the third stage Mauclair was leading, followed by Bidot, Opperman and Lamb. The French team leads the teams’ championship aggregate.
