BRITAIN’S |DECISION. AMERICAN JEWS AROUSED. United Press Assn. —Blec. Tel. Copyright NEW YORK, October 22. The Zionist Organisation of America is discussing steps to bring the matter of Britain’s Palestine policy before the State Department. It alleges that Britain’s action directly, violates the terms of the mandate as approved by Congress on June 30, 1922. . American Zionists all over the country are displeased with Britain’s policy and are planning to call Pi/ofesson Felix Frankfurter, of Harvard, and other legal, luminaries to their aid in a fight to force Britain to rescind it. The contemplated step follows the resignation of Mr Felix Warburg, of the chairmanship of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. Mr Warburg, in a lengthy statement, alleges that Lord Passfield, British Secretary of State for the Colonies, misled him, and that Britain’s policy is a cruel betrayal of her trusteeship-'

The Jewish National Council has issued a statement to the effect that the “ Government’s policy has broken the solemn pledge , given to the Jews and the Jewish national home becomes a bitter mockery and political hypocrisy. Our right thereto is recognised by the League of Nations, America, and all British Governments, and is justified and confirmed by our achievements.”
