CHARGE OF PERJURY.
ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. WHANGAREI, Thursday. Charges of having committed .perjury were laid to-day against Athol William Clark. The charges arose out of an afliliation case heard in the Whangarei Magistrate’s Court on January 25. Accused has since married Llie complainant in the case. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial. Bail was granted in two sureties of £SO.
