SUNSHINE LEAGUE.
CONCERT AT HOSPITAL. The patients of No. 4 Ward (women’s surgical) were entertained last evening by a talented party of performers, under the leadership of Mrs T. G. Scott. The programme included: Violin and piano trio and violin solos, Mrs and the Misses McLachlan; elocutionary items, Miss B. Mara, Miss Sorenson, Miss Rhode Pruden, Mr Smart; a sketch by Miss Pruden and Mr Smart; songs, Miss Mavis Wilson and Mrs Hebblestone. Miss Wilson was an able accompanist. The audience was a highly appreciative one and demonstrated its enjoyment by repeated calls for encores.
