The local branch of the United Empire Party adopted Mrs. Neil Stewart Richardson, hut Lord Rothmere is supporting Lord Beaverbrook’s Empire crusader, Vice-Ad-miral Taylor. This mix up is bemoaned by all Conservatives, who fear a chance will be given to the Labour candidate, Miss Dorothy Evans.
