SQUAB PIE
! Required: Cold mutton, one onion, ! one or two apples, a little sugar, about i Goz of short crust, i Cut the mutton into slices, peel and | slice the apple and onion. Arrange a layer of onion in a pie-dish, then one of meat. Next one of apple, sprinkling over a little sugar. Continue these layers till the dish is full, then roll out the pastry and cover the dish as you would for an ordinary meat pie. Bake in a moderate oven from 30 to 40 minutes.
