WOUNDED IN CAR.
DISCOVERY NEAR PORIRUA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Wednesday. A Public Works Department employee, Ernest George Crane, was discovered in a motor-car on the roadside, near Porirua, suffering from a shot wound. There was a .22 calibre rifle in the car beside the man. This evening he was still unconscious and his condition was serious.
