RAGLAN HORTICULTURE
MEETING OF SOCIETY. The annual meeting of the Raglan Horticultural and Industrial Society was held in the Anglican Social Hall, Mr Kirkwood occupying the chair. The balance sheet showed a credit of £2O 10. The election of officers for the coming year resulted: Patron, Mr Lee Martin M.P.; president, Mr A. G. Kirkwood; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. R. Moore; auditor, Mr A. R. Langley; committee —Mesdames J. B. Jackson, A. L. Peglcr, N. E. Pegler, Carpenter and Beach, Messrs Bray, Cowley, Stfewart, Penney and Bernard. The following were added to the list of vice-presidents:—Messrs Penney, Meekings, Down, Middlebrook, Grinlington and Parkinson.
It was.decided to hold the show on November 29.
