DAIRY PAY-OUTS.

THE MAY SUPPLY. CAMBRIDGE. The Cambridge Dairy Company will advance for the May supply £9221, on the basis of lid per lb butter-fat for butter making and Is 3d per lb for cheese, compared with £10,587 for May, 1929. The company’s supply showed a small increase over that for May, 1929. For the season to May 31 the company paid out a total of £263,420, against £241,581 for the previous season. BRUNTWOOD. The Bruntwood Co-ODerative Dairv Company received 22,0201 b of butter in May, the advance being £1284 on the basis of Is 2d per lb for' cheese, compared with 22,5711 b fat for May,, 1929, when the company paid out £1450 on the basis of Is 4d per lb butter-fat. SUNNY PARK. A bonus totalling £1230 will be paid out to suppliers of the Sunny Park Dairy Company, Te Poi, on June 20, to make the payments for the five months from January 1 up to a uniform level pf Is 5d per lb of bulterl'at supplied for cheese making. This will entail an additional payment of id per lb for February ancl April and of 3d for March supplies. For the six months ended December 31 the average payment was is 7d per lb. Returns for the past month with those for the corresponding month last year in parentheses are:

Cheese making: Pounds of milk received, 418,504 (377,438) ; test, 4.91 (4.64), pounds of butter-fat, 20,586 (17,425}; pay-out, Is 5d per lb (is sd) ; distribution, £1458 '(£1234). Butter: Pounds- of cream, 8345 (19,235); test, 45.24 (42.5); pounds of butter-fat, 4026 (8175); pay-out, Is (Is 4d) ; distribution, £2Ol 6s (£345). NORFOLK. Norfolk Company suppliers will receive an advance payment of Is 2d per lb, compared with Is 5d last year. During the month 368,5141 b of milk was supplied, there being 17,7181 b of fat. In'the corresponding month of the previous season, when 255,5821 b of milk was handled, the butter-fat content was 17,2991 b. The distribution amounted to £1035 17s, against £1219 5s last year.
