FAREWELL AFTERNOON.
AT MORRINSVILLE. Mrs J. H. Wyatt, who has left for Pukekohe, was farewelled at a party given by Airs C. AI. Gummer at her residence in Studholme Street, Alorrinsvillc.
A flower competition was won by Airs S. Parlour, and an autograph competition was won by Miss M. Allen and Miss F. Hewitt. Airs J. J. Seales entertained the company with songs which were much appreciated. After tea Airs Gummer presented Airs Wyatt with a pretty posy of violets and wished her happiness in her new home. Mrs A. L. Davies and Mrs A. M. Allen also spoke of the excellent work Airs Wyatt had done in the Church and Guides. Mrs Wyatt suitably replied, and the company sang “For She’s a Jolly Good Fellow.’’
