WIN FOR LOGAN HANLON. £SOOO FOR UNEMPLOYED RELIEF. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Saturday. The second day of the special meeting of the Forbury Park Trotting Club for the relief of unemployment was held to-day in fine weather before a good attendance. The course was in improved order. Following were the concluding results:- — SOUTHLAND HANDICAP. Of £200; li miles. 1 REGAL VOYAGE, 36yds 1 3 ROBERT GUY, limit 2 2 LYDIA, 24yds : 3 Also started: Harold Lee, 36; Imperial Bingen, 36; Lily Harold, 48yds bhd. Won- by four lengths with eight lengths between second and third. Tims 325 ’ FAREWELL t HANDICAP. Of £225 ;* 1J miles. 5 LOGAN HANLON, 12yds 1 7 WAREPA, limit 2 4 LINGFIELDS, 12yds 3 Also started: Royal Comrade, limit; Steel All, 12; Lingeld, 12; Daphne de Oro, 48; Cardinal Logan, 60yds bhd. Won by four lengths, with two lengths between second and third. Time, 2.48 1-5. The Total isator. The totalisator handled £26,282 10s for the day, making a total of £45,703 10s for the two days. Unemployed Relief. The Forbury Park Benefit Trots resulted in a profit of over £SOOO, which will be devoted to unemployment relief. ASHBURTON RE-HANDICAPS. CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday.
