DIOCESAN GIRLS’ SCHOOL.

OFFICIAL OPENING BY THE GOVERNOR-GEN.rPAL.

The A ? ice-regal party visited the Diocesan Girls’ School in River Road yesterday afternoon for the official opening of the school, by the Gov-ernor-General. A big crowd of parents and other friends of the school was assembled for the function, which took place in front of the new dormitory building. Her Excellency, who was presented with a lovely bouquet of scarlet and brown flowers was wearing a charming ensemble in biscuit colouiecl georgette, with velour coat in the same shade, trimmed with golden fox.
