FIRE AT STRATFORD.

FANCY GOODS SHOP GUTTED. OWNER’S HEAVY LOSS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) STRATFORD, Thursday. A fire early this morning gutted the fancy goods shop of W. G. Clark, in Broadway. i. The flames had a good hold when the brigade arrived, but were confined to the one shop, which is in the middle of a big block of wooden buildings. Mr. Clark’s -stock was completely destroyed. It was insured for £1450 in the State Office, but was valued at about £3OO more. The building was insured for £BOO in the Standard Office.
