LADIES’ GUILD.

CLAUDELANDS METHODISTS. The members of the Claudelands Methodist Ladies’ Guild spent a very pleasant time at the residence of Mrs, W. Waite, on Tuesday afternoon, to farewell Mrs Cooper and Mrs Parsons, who are shortly leaving for Christchurch. A word building competition provided much entertainment and was won by Mesdames Cooper and Clark. Afternoon tea was served, after which, the president (Mrs Fow) presented Mrs Cooper and Mrs Parsons with small gifts. ' Those present were Mesdames Fow, Parsons, Cooper, Darlington, Robson, Moody, Baker, W. Waite, Gillespie, A. Waite, Clarke, Fear, Cliffe; Misses Whitsitt and Fow.
