MORRINSVILLE NEWS.

KEREONE DANCE. A dance was held on Tuesday evening in the Kereone Hall in aid of the hall funds. The hall was prettily decorated for the occasion, oyer fifty-two couples being present, including visitors from Matamata, Te Aroha, Morrinsville, Waitoa, Walton and surrounding districts. Music was provided by Pennell’s orchestra, Matamata. Extras were played by Mrs Davis and Mr K. J. Von Sturmer. The waltz competition was won by Miss Coldioutt and Mr J. Knox. The M.G.’s were Mr H. L. Mac Queen and Mr W. H. Harnett. Personal. Miss Gwen Saunders is on a short visit to her parents in Morrinsville. Miss Lulu Hampson of Rotorua is a guest of Mrs E. Saunders, Morrinsville. ' Mrs J. Clements, of Tatuanui, has returned to her home after a short visit to Hamilton. The Rev. and Mrs Garlick, of Morrinsville accompanied by a party of four cars left for Hamilton to attend the Baptist Church Mission.
