PUNISHMENT OF PUPILS.
AUCKLAND BOARD’S DECISIONS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. The Auckland Education Board today decided to abolish corporal punishment of girls, also that it would be considered an offence for a teacher to strike a pupil on the head.
