Suggestions of fraudulent preference of payments to certain creditors out of insurance -money from a fire which burned down his store at Paremata were made at a meeting of the creditors of Charles Lambert .to-day, and a resolution was carried that the firms should be asked by the Official Assignee to return the amounts, failing which action should be taken to recover them.
