The American Walker Cup players participated in a thirty-six holes stroke play competition for a gold vase at Sunningdale.' Bobby Jones won with 143. Brownlow (England) was second with 144, Voigt (America) third with 146, and Wethered fourth with 150. The competitors included Douglas Fairbanks, whose first round score was 84. NOTED BILLIARD PLAYER. McCONACCHY REACHES DOMINION PLANS FOR THE FUTURE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. McConachy, the New Zealand billiard champion, arrived by the Makura from Sydney to-day. He will leave the Dominion' again on June 4 for Sydney, and on June 24 will leave from Melbourne for South Africa with Walter Lindrum. After six weeks’ stay in South Africa the pair will go on to England, where they will compete in the British championships..
