DEER STALKER SHOT. (Bv Telegraph.—Press Association.) NELSON, Monday. When on a deer-stalking expedition in the Maruia Valley, Murchison, yesterday, Mr Hugh Morgan, aged 22, was fatally shot. He was drawing his rifle toward him by the muzzle, when by some means it was fired off.
FOOTBALLER INJURED. MATAMATA, Tuesday. C. Inman, a member of the Patetere junior team, had his collarbone broken in a football match at Matarpata. '
