On Friday Mrs S. Lewis gave a most delightful afternoon in honour of Miss B. Svvayne, who is leaving shortly for Australia. The room was prettily decorated with chrysanthemums and autumn leaves. Mrs Lewis received her guests in a frock of beige georgette and lace.

The room was decorated with African marigolds and zinnias, and Miss Priestley received her guests in a frock of black embossed georgette.
