NOTED AIRMEN.

RECEPTION AT MANGERE. PRESENTATION TO MEN. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. A reception lo Flying Officers C. E. Kay and 11. L. Piper was held in the Mangere East Public Hall last evening. Eulogistic references to the feat accomplished by the two airmen were made by Mr A. W. Ilall and Mr W. JJordan, M.'’sP., Mr S. Mason, on behalf of the Auckland Aero Club, and others. An illuminated address and a cheque were presented to Flying Officer Kay, while Flying Officer Piper received, a fountain pen from the residents of the district.
