TROTTING CLUB SUED. LINKS TO BE REINSTATED. (Ky Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Waiwetu Golf Club claimed £SOO damages from the Wellington Trotting Club for interference with the golf course and failure to reinstate it after alterations had been made by the Trotting Club in ploughing up portions of tlie links. The defence was a general denial, also that plaintiff had failed to comply with repeated requests to state its requirements. .Mr Justice Blair suggested that it was a case for agreement, and after an adjournment it was settled by defendant club agreeing to carry out the necessary reinstatement and pay £75.
