SOCIAL EVENING.

AT THE LYCEUM CLUB. A social evening was held by Waikato members of the Women Teachers’ Association on Saturday evening at the Lyceum Club, to meet Miss Andrews of New Plymouth, Dominion president of the Association and Miss Taylor, president of the Auckland Branch. Mrs Staples acted as hos'tess assisted by a committee, Misses do Renzy, Ureville and Daldy. Bridge was played, the prize being won by Miss Buggy, and songs were rendered by Miss Holmes and Miss Greville.

Those present were Miss Andrews (New Plymouth), Miss Taylor (Auckland), Mesdarnes Staples, Piper, Hill and Cummerworlh (Te Aroha), Misses lloss, Pierce, Taylor (Auckland), dc llenzy, Greville, Daldy, Holmes, Nutsford, Noble, Anglan, Roberts, Shaw, Pirritt, Bubby, Ferguson, Annett, and Shanahan.
