NEW FACTORY OPENED. EVIDENCE OF PROGRESS. (Special to Times.) TE AROHA, Saturday. The official opening of the Te Aroha. News new factory, erected at a cost of over £2OOO, was largely attended yesterday afternooon. The chairman of direcors, Mr W. T. \V. Hughes, welcomed the assemblage, and afternon tea was partaken of. The Mayor, Mr R. Coulter, voiced his congratulations on The progressive step taken by the News Company, which was in accord with the progress of the town and district generally. The editor, Mr W. Williams, gave a brief description of the history of the journal from the year 1880, and Mr W. R. Lowry, chairman of the Piako County Council, and Mr R. L. Somers, and Mr Charles Rayner, president of the Chamber of Commerce, added congratulations on the progressiveness of the company.
