NOMINATIONS DUE BY TUESDAY, The annual meeting of the Taranaki' Trotting Club will be held at New Plymouth on Saturday, April 26. In a good programme the Taranaki Trotting Club Cup is of £3OO and a cup valued at 25 sovs., the distance being two miles and the limit 4.44, The Farewell Handicap of £l4O, with a 2.55 limit, will be decided over one mile and a quarter, while the supporting events offer full opportunities for aIL classes. Nominations for all . events will close at 9.30 p.m. on Tuesday next, April 15, with the secretary (Mr D. Le C. Morgan), P- O. Box 191, telephones 121 (office), 919 (private), New Plymouth. NOMINATIONS CLOSE CN TUESDAY.

The annual meeting of -the Cambridge Trotting Club will be held an Saturday, May 3. The chief event will be the Cambridge Trotting Cup Handicap of £4OO, including a trophy valued at £SO, the distance being two miles and the limit 4.40. The sprinters will be catered for by the Farewell Handicap of £155, 'One mile and a quarter, with a 2.54 limit, while the Bardowie Handicap of £165, two miles with a 4.54 limit will provide for the best of the trotters. The programme is well arranged and strong support is promised. Owners and trainers are reminded that nominations accompanied by fees wffii close for all events on Tuesday next, April 15, at 5 p.m. with the secretary (Mr Walter Stopford), box 55, telephone 82, Cambridge or with Messrs Blomflold and Company, Auckland.
