AFTER GLOAMING’S RECORD. As Australians aro looking forward hopefully to Amounis heading Gloaming’s great stake record of £43,100, it may not be out of place to quote the fact that the former has now accounted for £37,796 in prize money, and will probably add to this total If produced in the Rawson Stakes at Rosehill to-day. At the same time, Amounis is not yet in second place on the winning list, as Limerick has £39,159 against him, and Heroic comes next with £38,062. His connections have not announced the programme set for Amounis during the autumn campaign, but in addition to a number of rich weight-for-age engagements, he still figures in the Doncaster Handicap, £3OOO (one mile), under 10.5.
