KILLED IN A CIRCUS
FALL FROM 40-FOOT POLE. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel.—Copyright. NEW YORK, Alarch 30. Hans Jahn, aged 35, a German performer, was killed in a circus to-day. He lost his balance and fell from the top of a 40ft. pole held on the shoulder of his brother Karl. Seeing his brother commence to fall Karl leaped forward and threw himself to the ground to act as a cushion for Hans to fall upon. However, Hans’ back was broken and he died instantly.
