In the past our railway stations have not been noted for any systematic or orderly display of posters or announcements for the information of Hie. public regarding the facilities and service of the railways (says the Dominion). They have usually been of all sizse and colours, posted in any old corner likely to caleli Hie public eye. But system is being evolved out of chaos, and the latest innovation is a varnished card, about 24 x 4 0 inches, on which is printed in panel form a good deal of useful information for the travelling public. The card explains bow to obtain tickets for any form of travel, family, season or lourist, combined train, sea,, and service car trips, reservations, collection, checking, and delivery of luggage, inter-island traffic, and many other points.
