ENJOYABLE CONCER.
AUCKLAND ARTILLERY BAND. PROGRAMME AT FERRY BANK. A large crowd flocked to the river bank yesterday afternoon to listen to a programme by the Auckland Artillery Band under the baton of Mr Wynn Smith, W. 0.1. The people expected some excellent music and they were not disappointed. Each item was splendidly rendered, and was warmly applauded. The following was the programme : Contest March, “Torchlight;” Overture, “ Zampa;” Hymn, “ Fierce Raged the Tempest;” Trombone Solo, “Firefly;” Waltz, “Sleepy Valley;” Suite, “The Bohemian;” Popular Songs, “The Wedding of the Painted Doll ” and “ Honey.-”
