At the monthly meeting of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Amateur Radio ’Transmitters’ Association opportunity was taken to present to Mr F. W. Sellens, of Northland, Wellington, a silver cup sent out specially by Philips Short-wave Station PG.I, as a mark of appreciation of the reports which Mr Sellens has been

sending forward regularly in respect of reception locally from that station. Mr Fitt, manager of Philips Lamps (N.Z.), Ltd., who made the presentation, commented on the service which Mr Sellens was carrying out in the interests of radio, and added that frequently PCJ Station (Holland) made mention of the excellent work which Mr Sellens was doing.
