DROPPED THE PROPELLOR
MISHAP TO A PLANE. SAFE LANDING ACCOMPLISHED. AFTER A SIX-MILE GLIDE. Received March 11, 11-45 a.m.) ADELAIDE, March 11. When the propeiior dropped off his machine at an altitude of 3000 feet the pilot, Denny, effected a safe landing after a six miles' glide. Denny headed for a clear paddock a few miles away. The plane hit a fence, and the undercarriage was .slightly damaged. It then made a perfect landing. A private plane picked up the two passengers.
