Vital Statistics. The vital statistics for Matamata for February are as follows (those for last year given in parentheses) : Births, 13 (13); deaths, 1 (1); marriages, 2 (2). Rainfall. The rainfall in February at Matamata .was 2-68 inches, with a maximum fall on the 13th of 78 points. The total for the months of January and February was 11.17 Inches, compared with 2.80 inches for the corresponding months last year. Personal. Mr and Mrs G. H. S.'Wilson, of Matamata, intend to join the Dominion farmers’ party which leaves for Great Britain at the end of April. Mrs and Miss Allison, of Matamata, Mesdames M. E. and A. Gouid, and Mrs Gould, sen., are leaving for Puru, Thames, to-day. Mrs P. T. Field has returned from a visit to Onehunga. Mrs G. Syme, of Hawera, is the guest of her sister, Mrs J. P. Vosper. Mrs F. Gardner Brown has returned from Auckland. Mrs Jamieson, of Pukekohc, is visiting Mrs Bluck, of Taihoo.
