AN INTERNATIONALIST.
ALSO A PATRIOT. MR MacDOXALD’S DECLARATION. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian P-ess Association.) (Received Oct. 12, 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 10. Mr Ramsay MacDonald told 5000 guests at a luncheon tendered him by the English-speaking Union and three English societies to-day that he was an "internationalist as well as a patriot. He declared: “There is not man who can ’be an internationalist who does not value nationalism. Knowing and feeling proud of my history, I can understand the same feelings and similar pride in the hearts and minds of those who belong to other nations."
