HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL.
INTER-FORM FOOTBALL. CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. The annual inter-form football competition of the Hamilton High School was recently decided, and resulted in a victory for the sixth fox-m, who defeated Form 5A in the final round. Yesterday afternoon the inter-form trophy, a shield, was presented to the winning form. In making the presentation, William Macky, captain of the Fifth form team, congratulated the victors on their success. He made several humorous references to the game, and added that bis form boppd to regain the championship title next year. Charles Hubbard, the Sixth form captain, who received the shield amid applause, briefly spoke on the game. He said that the inter-form games were much enjoyed, not so much for the honours of victory as for the sport which they represented. Thanks were due to Mr S. E. Senior, who capably controlled the final game. Some amusement was caused when J. Reid presented to R. Taylor a cup, consisting mainly of'old brass and piping, as a memento of the competition. The recipient suitably replied.
