MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED

BROKEN ARM SUSTAINED.

COLLIDES WITH MOTOR VAN. A broken right arm was sustained by Hector Ward Innes-Jones, 20 years, bank clerk, employed by the Commercial Bank of Australia, when the motor-cycle he was riding crash-

ed into a light Ford van, which was turning across Victoria Street on the Te Rapa side of London Street this morning.

The van, driven by Francis William Buchanan, employed by the “Ai” Quick Service Company, was proceeding up Victoria Street in a northerly direction, and had turned round to pull up in front of the Service Station on the other side of the road, when the motor-cyclist travelling to work, struck the van mid-on.

The front of the motor-cycle was extensively damaged and the running board of the van badly buckled.
