LYCEUM CLUB.
ENJOYABLE OPEN EVENING. A very enjoyable and interesting evening was given by the Entertainment Committee last evening in the lounge of the club, when the following entertaining programme was rendered:—Piano duet, Mesdames Sinclair and Ferguson; song, Mrs Bouillon; piano solo, Miss Valder; recitation, Mrs Lindir; song, Mrs Bennett; piano solo, Mrs English; recitation, Mrs Bullock; song, Mrs Farquhar; recitation, Mrs Lindir; reading, “New Brooms and Old,” Mesdames Bullock, Arthur, Prenton, and Miss Scott. There was a good attendance, and everyone spent a very happy evening. At the close of the programme Mrs Jolly thanked those responsible for the successful evening.
