BECKY LOGAN DESTROYED. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. When being taken to the Christchurch railway station to be entrained to Molhven on Saturday the live-year-old mare Becky Logan slipped ■on the railway line and broke hyr hip. She was subsequently destroyed.
JACK POTTS MAY NOT START. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Jack Polls may not be a starter i.i the New Zealand Trotting Cup, for he has a big knee that is causing trouble, and his trainer will find it difficult to give him a solid preparation.
