LAWN TENNIS.
OHAUPO CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Ohaupo Tennis Club was held in the Memorial Hall, there being a good attendance. Mill. R. Ogg was voted to the chair. The report and balance sheet were read and adopted and showed the club to be in a- sound financial position, there being a credit balance of £3l 19s sd.
■The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr 11. R. Ogg; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs W. Bell and A. Cowley, senr.; secretary, Mrs Boyd; treasurer, Miss Z. Turnwald; auditor, Mr L. D. Kemp; club captain, Mr W. Smillie; committee, Messrs Smillie, Boyd, Jackson, P. Bell, C. Cowley and Mrs Grayling and Miss I. Cowley. It was decided that the club again affiliate to the Waipa West sub-Asso-ciation.
It was decided that a working bee be held on Saturday, September 7, when it is hoped there will be a good muster.
The opening day was fixed for Saturday, September 28.
