NOTTINGHAM PROBABLE WINNER.

(Received August 31, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 30.

The victories of Nottingham, Yorkshire and Lancashire to-day left the championship dependent on the last round matches.

At present Nottingham has 155 points and Yorkshire and Lancashire 148 each. Nottingham can only be deprived of winning if Derbyshire heats Nottingham outright and Yorkshire beats Sussex outright. Lancashire has played its last match, so is out of the running.
