FIRE AT CHRISTCHURCH.
! PRECEDED BY EXPLOSION. FOUR-ROOMED HOUSE BURNED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. A four-roomed house at Hornby, owned by Mrs S. B. Thomas, was destroyed by fire early this morning, while temporarily unoccupied. ' Neighbours say they heard an explosion preceding the fire.
