Five pilots, comprising the Italian team, arrived at Calshot to-night. Colonel Bernasconi is captain of the team. The Italian pilots are full of hope, but do not know yet what their machines will do. Referring to the doubt about competing, Colonel Bernasconi said: "We’ve never withdrawn. It would have been a staggering surprise to learn that we were not competing.”
